Do you want to learn how to cook some Catalan cuisine classics? Imagine doing this in the heart of Priorat, one of the most scenic places in Catalonia. Add to this some selected DOQ Priorat wines match the food. A perfect pairing. Our restaurant Les Figueres and our neighbours from the Celler Devinssi winery came up with this idea of cooking classes for foodies who love to discover new recipes and relish savouring own-made morsels...
The classes are guided by one of our chefs, Dolors and María José. Dolors has a lifelong experience in cooking traditional meals. She is mother to seven children, so she has always been passionate about cooking for her dearest and nearest and also outside her private life, bringing the cooking tradition to our stovetop. María José studied heartily to be a cook at the Cambrils Hospitality School (Costa Daurada). She adds her young, more experimental and more international touch to cooking because she's lived in a bunch of countries before joining us.
We propose to cook together some traditional Catalan courses in the beautiful garden of Clos Figueras in Gratallops. You will learn to create some luscious nibbles that go beyond pa amb tomàquet and paella. During the cookery class, you'll also learn how to pair the courses to local wines.
There art two schedule options: brunch 10am and early dinner 5pm.
